Dated February 1901 with Queen's crown to the pommel. Marked to the 4th Battalion of the Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders, dirk number 7.

The 11 3/4 inch blade (12 inches if you include the section hidden by the hilt's ferrule) is in very good condition, some patina and wear but not much, and firm in the hilt. The Scottish weave design grip / hilt in good order with all the steel pins present. The leather and brass sheath is aged but sound condition; the brass chape is missing. The dirk sheathes and draws well.
