In fairly good overall condition, a Rare 1908P British Cavalry
Troopers Sword with wooden grip.
 

Dated on the forte "8" "13" for August 1913,
this 1908P with some of its original war time camouflage paint remaining,
is a rarity as it has a wooden grip which appears to be original.
Marked on the blade "SB&N Ltd" (Sanderson Brothers
& Neubold Limited).

The 35 inch blade has some inert rust pitting towards the point
end. Blade firm in hilt. The bowl guard actually good as is the
rare wooden grip (some wear). Steel scabbard with remains of war
paint and a few dings. Sword sheathes and draws loosely.
