In good general condition, a good 19th Century Silver Omani Jambiya with belt / strap, 92%+ Silver

A very high quality and old Omani jambiya, the silver work to the sheath is excellent. We tested an obscure section of the hilt and the result was 92%+ silver content (see test photo below; the dark red from this specialist acid test shows the silver content is above 92%). Overall length 11 1/2 inches. The 6 3/4 inch blade is in good condition and firm in the hilt. The hilt, sheath and belt are all aged commensurate with age, but sound / good. This is an old jambiya for sure and well worth £? (too late, now sold). Please quote item reference number S66 (0691). Full sized / further images available upon request.
