The 32 1/8 inch blade is in good condition but with a fairly steady patina. Blade firm in the hilt. The hilt with a little denting (these brass hilts were so prone to this), but overall good and the folding section works well. The fishskin grip and twisted grip wire bindings in good shape. The leather and brass fittings scabbard very good for age, some cracking, etc but well above average. The sword sheathes and draws well but can catch when first inserting.

Nice example, nicer price; £? (too late, now sold). Please quote item reference S12 (0618). Further / full sized images available upon request.
