ER2 British Army Officer's Wilkinson Sword, Sold

In good condition, an ER2 British Army Officer's Wilkinson Sword, Scabbard, Knot, All Weather Bag.

Serial number 107226 for 1977 with the original owner's initials "C N V R" to the blade; it is costs £10 with Royal Armouries to get a copy of the original buyer of each Wilkinson Sword (there are some blanks / gaps) if of interest to a buyer. This sword is in excellent condition except for several patina (inert black rust) spots to the blade.

The 32 1/3 inch blade is in good condition except for said patina spots, and firm in hilt. The hilt and grip including grip wire are all very good. The sword knot with a little age. Scabbard with some age but good. The sword sheathes and draws well. The all weather carry bag is a little aged but very good.

Shame about the few patina spots, but still Under priced at £? Too late, now sold). Please quote item reference number R98 (0605). Further / large images available upon request.
