Napoleonic 1796P British Heavy Cavalry Officer's Dress Sword, Sold

A scarce Napoleonic 1796 Pattern British Heavy Cavalry Officer's Dress Sword.

An impressive sword with wide, hefty Claymore type blade.

The 32 7/8 inch blade is in good condition, bar a wobble (bending) to the tip end, firm in the hilt. The hilt generally very good but with some scrapes / marks. The silver grip wire gone to expose the original wood grip base.
