Circa 1800 Napoleonic British Grenadier Officer's Sword, Sold

A rare Circa 1800 Napoleonic British Grenadier Officer's Sword.

A rare British pattern of sword and with very early pipe-back blade. This is a fighting, not a dress sword.

The 32 inch blade has plenty of patina patches (inert light rust) but is very sound and firm in the hilt. The hilt with light brown surface rusting (now inert). The grip has suffered somewhat the test of time.
