The 32 1/8 inch blade is aged and worn but good / sound and firm in the hilt. The wide flared 3 bar guard is good but has a possibly period break and repair. The fishskin grip has missing patches; most of the twisted grip wire bindings are gone. The later painted scabbard is sound; there is an evident repair towards the drag / chape. The sword sheathes and draws loosely.

A rare sword, yours for £? (too late, now sold). Please quote item reference P73 (0260). Further / full sized images available upon request.
