The 32 1/4 inch blade is in good condition, some light speckling, etching still clear, firm in the hilt. The hilt with some tiny specks of rust to the edge and inside of the bowl guard. The fishskin grip has faded a little; the twisted grip wire bindings mostly good, some lesser strands a little astray on some turns. The scabbard with small rusts spots along most of each side, but still very sound. The sword sheathes and draws well.

100% provenance and a golden opportunity for further research. Yours for £? (too late, now sold). Please quote item reference P54 (0244). Further / full sized images available upon request.
