Sales enquiries

OK, the langet has long gone (the break has corrosion), but this can actually be repaired by someone like Crisp & Sons if an issue. It is rare to find these Napoleonic / Battle of Trafalgar era swords with so much blue and gilt etch remaining, plus a nearly intact ivory grip!

The 27 inch blade is overall in very good condition with much blue and gilt etch remaining. Blade a little loose in hilt. The langet has long ago broken off the hilt / guard. The ivory grip in well above average condition, though with missing chips one side and under the pommel. The twisted grip wire bindings remain good.

A sword with a lot of blue and gilt and potential for a low price; yours for £? (too late, now sold). Please quote item reference P23 (1206). Further / full sized images available upon request.
