Marked Y (for "Yeomanry") above "Y H" for the Yorkshire Hussars, with matching sword and scabbard serial numbers, this 1908P British cavalry trooper's sword was made by Enfield Small Arms Factory in February 1915.

The 34 3/4 inch blade is in good condition, but with age speckling, some rust towards the point, firm in the hilt. The hilt / guard is generally very good, a lot of camouflage paint remaining. The grip in good condition. The steel scabbard with signs of age and wear is generally good. The sword sheathes and draws well.

A great regimentally marked 1908 pattern and for only £? (too late, now sold). Please quote item reference number O87 (1403). Further / full sized pictures available upon request.
