Sales enquiries

Scarce to find a pipe-back (pre-1845) model, scarcer as this one comes with part of the original hanger with twin lions for the East India Company.

The 31 blade is in overall good condition but with some small period nicks to the cutting edge. Blade firm in the hilt. The brass hilt is bent in several places with a couple of small half breaks (not fully cracked across) on the bars. Folding section works but is worn and with some bending. Grip very aged and worn, some small missing patches, but overall good. Twisted grip wire bindings aged but good. The (senior officer) brass scabbard is in aged but good condition. The sword is a bit loose in the scabbard.

Aged but scarce. Yours for £? (too late, now sold). Please quote item reference O23 (0190). Further / full sized images available upon request.
