Sales enquiries

There is no apparent (to us) Seki stamp on the tang. The mei generally is very feint, although legible. There maybe the remains of a star denoting a Rikugun Jumei Tosho swordsmith, but we can not guarantee that. The sword is being sold at a very reasonable price on the basis it is a Seki stamp quality blade and anything better is a complete bonus.

The 20 inch blade has patina patches and a very feint hamon, but is on good condition. The tsuka (grip) and saya (scabbard) are all aged but good. The blade is quite stout and a fearsome looking thing. The sword sheathes and draws well.

Good value. Please quote item reference number M97 (1296). Further / full sized images upon request.
