ERII British Infantry Non Commissioned Officer's Sword, sold

In very good condition, an ERII British infantry NCO's sword.

ERII British Infantry Non Commissioned Officer's Swordimage I16 1

Sold Item Notice

With a bit of work, this sword could easily be in full parade ground condition. The hilt and grip are already excellent. The blade is not plated all the way down. The scabbard is scuffed here and there. If required for a serving officer, an electroplating business should be able to nickel plate the blade and scabbard without removing the hilt (saves money and issues) depending on their etching tank.

The 31 3/4 inch blade is in good condition, some small rust spots but not too many, the main body of the blade being steel (not plated). Blade firm in the hilt. The hilt in excellent condition, as is the grip. The plated steel scabbard has scuffs, etc from use. The sword sheathes and draws well enough. Appears British made (good quality). A great buy. Please quote item reference number I16 (1013). Further / large images available upon request.
