The 31 1/2 inch plain double fullered blade is in very good condition and firm in the hilt. The hilts, both of them, in very good shape; the basket hilt would clean up very well. The scarlet hilt liner good, though has a couple of moth holes, the royal blue edging somewhat faded. The fishskin grip with associated twisted grip wire bindings are in very good order. The steel scabbard with ball chape in good order. The sword draws and sheathes well, though can catch on the sheath. An excellent example, well worth £XXX. Please quote item reference G49 (959). Additional / full sized photos available upon request.
