Serial number 57060 for 1919, etched with the initials "W E C", this sword was sold to 2nd Lieutenant W E Carver.

The 35 inch blade is in good condition, some aging, a little patina here and there, not much. Blade with King George V's Royal Cypher and initials WEC, firm in the hilt. The hilt with some aging but good and sound. The leather grip with fishskin patterning a little faded but sound and the twisted grip wire bindings complete. The sword sheathes and draws well into / out of its leather field service scabbard, also in good condition, as is the leather frog and straps.
