1897P George V British Infantry Officer's
Wilkinson Sword, sold |
In good condition, a Wilkinson made George 5th British infantry
officer's sword, initialed "G K S" and sold to a Colonel
Slobart.

In pretty good condition overall, this Wilkinson made British infantry
officers sword was made / finished on the 23rd June 1921 for a Col
Slobart, with the initials "G K S" to the blade, there
is certainly some research potential here.

The 32 1/2 inch blade is in very good condition, some aging, not
much, and is firm in the hilt. The hilt with some plating loss and
a little light rusting, otherwise very good. The fishskin grip has
lost a little of its colour, but is in good order, as are the twisted
grip wire bindings. The field leather scabbard is also very good.
The sword sheathes and draws well.
