Sales enquiries

In generally very good order, the blade has been period field sharpened, so there is no visible hamon. But the blade is in very good order and still sharp. And, let's face it, this blade bears the name of the master sword smith Kanesane (sometimes called "Kanezane"), so the price is worth the ability to say "I have a Kanesane" alone! The tang has a post 1926 / pre 42 Showa stamp, plus the signature "Noshu Ju Kanesane" (click link for details about this sword smith).

Seki Ju Kanesane / Kanezan
The 26 inch (cutting edge excluding habaki) blade is in very good condition, as is the rest of the sword. The blade has a small number of minor (very small) nicks, probably through use, a few small rust patches to the spine area. Further / large images available upon request. Please quote item reference number D54 (752)
