The 18 inch blade is in sound condition and would clean up quite well with some time and a good metal polish; there are some minor areas of pitting, but mostly just metal aging. Blade firm in the hilt, the fishskin grip and twisted grip wire bindings are very good. The scabbard also very good for its age. The original know it worn but sound. The all weather cover is very good for its age. The dirk sheathes and draws well, the locking mechanism is good. So rare to get the complete set, so worth every penny. Further / full sized images upon request. Please quote item reference number is D40 (716).
