1826 Model Russian Cuirassier Pallasche /
In good condition, an exceptionally rare 1826M Russian Cuirassier
trooper's pallasche (broadsword), dated 1830, as used in the Russian
November Uprising (Polish–Russian War) of 1830-1831.
A very rare sword in quite good condition, the original leather
grip and twisted brass grip bindings still solid and present. The
97 cm hatchet tip blade with some former corrosion but still very
sound and firm in the hilt. The hilt in very good condition for
its age. Dated along the blade's spine to 1830. Correct Zlatoust
hilt markings. Correct state date inscription. We guarantee this
sword is 100% authentic (be careful, the vast majority of Russian
swords including 1826M's are reproductions); this one is genuine.
