19th / 20th Century South Sumatran bone hilted keris, sold

A very old, circa late 19th Century South Sumatran keris, in good general condition.

In good condition, the rustic / aged strong pamor two section construction 33.7cm blade is firm in the carved bone hilt. It is unusual and nice to see a Sumatran / Peninsular style keris in a Javanese style sheath. The sheath has some damage but is overall good for age. The keris fits perfectly into the sheath.
