The 32 1/2 inch blade is aged but sound with the etching still clear and firm in the hilt. The hilt / guard equally is aged but sound. The fishskin grip with moth or wear patches but still quite good; the twisted grip wire still good. The leather with steel fittings scabbard is good and the sword sheathes and draws well.

Nice sword, nicer original important owner provenance. A great buy at £? (too late, now sold). Please quote item reference AD87 (0637). Further / full sized images available upon request.
