19th Century Sri Lankan Kastane, Sold

In good condition for its age, a 19th Century Sri Lankan Kastane.

A Buddhism inspired sword which can rarely be found for under £500.

The 16 3/8 inch blade is aged but sound and firm in the hilt. The steel, tropical wood and brass hilt aged and worn but good.
