WW1 / George V British Royal Artillery Officers Sword, Sold

In good condition, a WW1 / George V British Royal Artillery Officers Sword.

Serial number 6884 to spine, the maker's / retailer's details are now too feint to see (the blade is worn and has been replated).

The 32 1/2 inch blade has some pitting towards the point. The blade has been replated; etching now feint. Blade firm in hilt. The hilt in good condition. The fishskin grip is good but has lost its twisted grip wire. The plated steel scabbard is in overall good condition but has some light pitting and a couple of kinks. The sword sheathes and draws very well.
