Sales enquiries

Guaranteed authentic. Bought by us from the friend's family of Arthur John Betty, private, 1 Commando; this is his WW2 F-S knife (by repute). The 1st Special Service (Commando) Brigade saw extensive service throughout WW2, and this knife was there.

The 5 15/16 commando combat pointed blade is in good condition and firm in the hilt. The knife is overall good, though with age and wear (which we have left alone as many collectors do not want chemicals on their knives). The original leather commando sheath is worn and aged, wings removed (as is correct for commando use); the sheath tells its own story, that this knife had a long and arduous service life.

It is rare and nice to get an actual combat knife like this with provenance. Yours for £? (too late, now sold). Please quote item reference AB68 (0122). Full sized photos available upon request.
