British ERII (Solingen made) Infantry Officer's Sword, Sold

In very good condition, a Solingen made Queen Elizabeth 2nd British infantry officer's sword.

The 32 1/2 inch blade is in very good if not as new condition and is firm in the hilt. The hilt is in very good condition, some slight aging to the plating (nothing a good metal finishing cream would not bring back to as new). The grip and grip wires all good. The leather sword knot with some aging and the knot will fall off if pulled (can simply be reglued to make more permanent) . The leather scabbard overall good but some wear to the chape. The sword sheathes and draws well.
