WW2 Italian Naval Officer's Sword, Sold

In quite good condition, a WW2 Italian naval officer's sword, a war trophy.

Most likely from the Battle / Siege / Capture of Tobruk, a captured Italian WW2 naval officer's sword.

The 32 5/8 inch blade is aged but in good overall condition and firm in the hilt / guard. The fishskin grip a little grubby but good, the twisted grip wire bindings present but a little loose / wayward in places. The leather over steel scabbard has lost quite a bit of leather, but is sound. The sword sheathes and draws well.
