Sales enquiries

A well above average example of this early 1800's artillery hanger / naval cutlass made by Josh H Reddell & Co of Birmingham. Marked to the maker along the blade's spine and with the crown 2 inspection / acceptance mark to the blade's forte, the 26 inch blade (double edged near point) is in excellent condition and firm in the hilt. The hilt is in very good shape too retaining much gilt. The leather grip is original and in good condition. The black and gilt fittings scabbard is aged but good and sound. The sword sheathes very well.
